Where do I start?
The easiest place to start is with your opponents. Schedule Star already includes nearly every high school in the USA.
To begin to add your opponents, log into Schedule Star
and click on Opponents, located in the lower left of your main
Schedule Star screen.
To add a new opponent, click on New. The screen that comes up will
give you the option of looking at schools in a specific state, or
choosing a mileage radius around you. Locate the school, highlight
it, then click on Select. You can add as many opponents as you would
like.
When you are finished, click on Done to return to the main opponents
screen. You can add or modify opponents at any time by clicking on
the Opponents button.
For more detailed information, see our
Online
User's Guide HERE.
What is next? Adding Facilities and
Transportation
After you add your opponents, you can either begin entering events,
or add some of your facilities and transportation providers. You can
add them as you are entering events, but entering them all at once
is much faster.
To enter a transportation provider, click on Transport on the main
screen of Schedule Star. When the Transportation screen
opens, Click on New and enter as much information as you would like.
For more detailed information, see our
Online
User's Guide HERE.
Facilities are done just a little differently. To add a Facility,
click on Utilities, located on the right side of your screen, near
Print.
When the Utilities screen is open, click on Edit Facilities. Click
on New and enter the name and an abbreviation. Please keep in mind
that the name of the facility will show on your reports and on
HighSchoolSports.net.

Online
User's Guide HERE.
What is the Game Wizard? About
G-Wiz
G-Wiz is where you set facility and transportation defaults for your
teams and set up to
schedule multiple levels at the same time.
When you associate your
JV Football with your Varsity Football, both events will be
scheduled at the same time. You have complete control.
For
more detailed information on the G-Wiz, see our
Online User's Guide HERE
or PRINT a G-Wiz Tech Guide HERE.
Game Wizard is patented technology
developed by the Schedule Star team.
Adding Events
To enter an event, click on Add on the main screen of Schedule Star.
An event can be classified as a Sporting event, Practice, School,
Personal, or Other.
When adding a sporting event, Sport, Level,
Gender, Opponent, Time, and Place must be added. When adding games
for Game Wizard teams, facility and transportation will
automatically be added.
The teams associated in the Game Wizard with the Varsity team
will also be automatically scheduled. For more detailed information on entering
sporting events, see our Online User's Guide HERE.
When adding Practices, or School, Personal, or Other Events,
Schedule Star's Quick Click easy entry will have you adding weeks,
or even months, of non-sporting events in moments.
For more detailed information on
non-sporting entering
events, see our Online User's Guide HERE.
Flashing E - the Event Notifier
What is that flashing red "E" in the lower right corner of my
Schedule Star?
That is your Event Notifier! It allows you to interact with other
Athletic Directors at your opponent schools.
When your "E" is flashing, it means that other schools have enter
events with you. Click on the "E" to bring up the list.
Highlight an event by clicking on it. If you need to see what you
have scheduled for that day, click on the Go To button. It will take
you to that day on your calendar. To accept an event, click accept,
you will be asked to confirm your Sport, Level, and Gender. This
way, if you use different words than the other school, you can still
exchange events. If you have the event entered, Schedule Star
will ask you if they are the same event. This way, you will not get
duplicates in your schedule.
If you need to decline an event, click on Decline, then enter a
reason. The opponent school will get the notice back in their Event Notifier along with the reason you entered.

Online
User's Guide HERE.
