In the lower right corner are three letters. These are some of the interactive features of Schedule Star.
If the "E"is flashing, it indicates that other Schedule Star users have entered games with you. When you click on the flashing "E", you will bring up the list of those events. If you accept an event, it will be automatically entered into your calendar. If you decline an event, the other Athletic Director will get an email alerting them to your declination, along with the reason that you entered when you declined.
This does not exchange a contract with the opposing school. This enters events into your schedule and saves you time by not duplicating effort.
When you enter events against other Schedule Star users, they will get them in their flashing "E". This way, you only need to enter home games - your away games will pop up in the flashing "E" for you to accept or decline them. You save time by not having to duplicate effort.

The screen will open below the calendar so that you can check on events, if you need to. To go to the date of the highlighted event, click on the Go To (date) button.
If you have already entered an event, Schedule Star Now! will try to match the incoming event with the existing event. If it finds an event that seems to match the accepted event, Schedule Star Now! will show you the event and ask you if it is the same event.

You will then be asked to confirm the team for the event. This is so that if you call your team "Boys Junior Varsity Soccer" and the opposing school calls their team "Mens Reserve Soccer", you can still exchange events.

When you accept an event, the event in your Schedule Star and the event in the opposing school's Schedule Star are linked together. If the event is modified, you will be notified through the flashing "E" and the event will be changed in your Schedule Star.
If you need to decline an event, the Athletic Director at the opposing school will get notification, along with your reason for declining, in their flashing "E". This is also where you will receive declined events.

The flashing "O" is Officials Notifier. It alerts you to incoming official assignments from your league's official assignor. These are entered through The Arbiter.Net Official Assignment program.
Click on the flashing "O" to view and accept the official assignments into your home games.
The flashing "N" is news from Schedule Star.
