The Definitive Scheduling Standard for over 40 years
In the late 1950’s, an athletic
director at a school became seriously ill. His “system” for tracking games,
transportation, and other important details was so disorganized no one else
could make sense of it.
This catastrophe planted the idea for a complete scheduling resource in the
mind of Sonny Santorine, then a young Athletic Director in New Jersey.
In 1964, the first “Athletic Director’s Schedule Book” was published. The
concept was beautiful in its simplicity, with the details for all teams held in
a single location in a format anyone could understand. This provided a backup in
case of emergency. |
