USING NEFF CERTIFICATES
Schedule Star is equipped to print award certificates for your athletes. This feature is available in the Athlete Information Center. The Neff Company produces a line of certificates specifically for Schedule Star.
From the Main Calendar screen, click TEAMS. Use the pull-downs to select one of your teams. Click Team Reports and select Certificates. Use the first pull-down to select the type of award, either Letter or Participation. Use the second pull-down to pick the type of certificate you are using (SS1, SS2, etc.). MAKE SURE YOU SELECT THE RIGHT ONE! Your selection MUST correspond to your certificate. Check the appropriate boxes to include the Athletic Director's signature or the Principal's signature (if installed). Load the certificates in your printer, make sure the "Send To:" is set to the Printer, and click PRINT.
Schedule Star prints ONLY on certificates with an "SS" model number. Other Neff certificates WILL NOT work. Please note that the layouts were changed with the release of Version 4.1 because Neff redesigned the certificates. If you have older Neff certificates that printed fine in Version 4.0 but not in Version 4.1, contact our tech support team to obtain the files you need to print on the older certificates. If you design and print your own certificates, you may want to use the two generic-format selections, CERT1 and CERT2, as a template.
If Schedule Star appears to be printing the athlete's name, the school year, etc. too high or too low on the certificate, your printer drivers probably need reinstalled or updated. Before contacting us, ask your system administrator to reinstall and/or update your printer drivers. This fixes 99% of the alignment problems that we troubleshoot.
If your Athletic Director and/or Principal's signature is showing up in the wrong location, especially on SS3, Neff probably supplied you with the wrong certificate. All of the SS-series certificates CANNOT be modified because their layouts are pre-programmed into Schedule Star. If you or your sales representative perform ANY customizing or change the layout in any way, the certificates WILL NOT work with Schedule Star. If your SS certificate does not match the layout of the certificates pictured in the User's Guide (beginning on page 83), contact your Neff representative.

OHIO TRADE SHOW
Schedule Star will appear as an exhibitor at the Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Workshop, October 8-10 in Columbus. Our booth number is 63. Exhibit hours are 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, and 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m on Tuesday.
We'll be making three special presentations in association with the OIAAA at 10:45 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. We will cover advanced features during the 2:30 session.
We cordially invite anyone attending to visit our booth. Many of you have spoken to Zach, Terry, and Adolph only on the phone, so stop by and see us "in the flesh." We're looking forward to meeting you!

HIGHSCHOOLSPORTS.NET
We appreciate those who are using HighSchoolSports.Net. It's the perfect extension to Schedule Star, and takes "Schedule Once, Use everywhere" to the next level.
The Schedule Star server is experiencing record volume, both in uploads and page views. We are rapidly approaching one million athletic events Online.
In one hour this past week, over 50,000 people visited our Website (usually though your Website). The numbers are incredible. HighSchoolSports.Net is the ONLY place on the web with accurate, updated information that comes from the scheduling authority itself.... you, the Athletic Director.
We have occasionally experienced some problems with this growth, and ask you to bear with us.
Even at our worst, our server out-performs most other scheduling sites, posting reliability numbers in excess of 98%. We are aiming for perfection, and constantly strive toward 100%.
We are constantly improving the software on our server, and increasing its reliability.
Right now, we occasionally experience problems receiving uploads during "prime time," or during a flurry of uploads because of bad weather. The availability of checking schedules on our site is nearly perfect... it's uploading that has experienced "issues".
Thank you for your patience, and bearing with us during this growth.
