Featured Stories:

•Print Reports - print many different types of reports from Schedule Star
•Printing to clipboard- using Schedule Star reports in other programs
•Making Backups - protecting and controlling your data

Printing Reports
The Print Button on the main screen of Schedule Star has a large number of reports that can be printed or viewed.
Need to print a list of games to send to an opposing school? Click on Print, then choose "Opponent Schedule".
Reports can be customized in numerous ways. To see if a report is what you need, use the "Send to" button the send it to your computer screen.
You can also use the "Send to" button to an Excel file. When you print a report to an Excel file, a screen will come up, giving you the option to change the name and location of the file. The default is "output.xls" and goes to your AOA folder, where Schedule Star is stored. To find the file, open Excel, then use the "open" option. Browse to your AOA folder. "Output.xls" will be the only Excel file there.
Our on-line User's Guide, Print Reports and your User's Guide binder, page 70, have complete instructions.

Print to Clipboard
You can also use the "Send to" button on the Print Reports screen to send reports to the clipboard. Once they are on the virtual clipboard, they can be pasted into many other programs. Once you've pasted the report, select the entire report and change the font to "Courier New". That will line the columns back up.

Making Backups
A backup is the best protection for your investment of time. Even if your computer is networked and the network is backed up regularly, you still need to make a back up. Use a "USB drive", e-mail it to yourself at home, or put it on a zip cartridge. However you save it, you need to store it away from your computer.
Make a back up that you control - it will prevent damage and loss to your valuable data. Complete instructions are online at Back Up Guide or in your User's Guide binder, page 94.
