Using Your Registration Disk
If you get a red box when you open Schedule Star, you are being reminded to install your new registration. When you renew your yearly subscription to Schedule Star, you will receive a black, 3.5" floppy disk in the mail. It says "Registration Disk" on the label. The code is located on this disk & will be installed. Have all Schedule Star users close the program. If Schedule Star is networked, you need to know the name of drive where Schedule Star is stored. Insert the disk into your drive & follow the instructions on the disk label.

Importing Students
to Schedule Star is straightforward, but does need to be done exactly as Schedule Star requires, as this is the information Schedule Star uses for your Eligibility Forms. All the instructions are located on your Schedule Star CD, as well as in our Import Students Guide.
As always, please do a backup before you begin.
First, start with a file exported from your school's student data base and saved in a .cvs format. Then, follow the instructions on the Schedule Star Import Student Guide to make sure your student information is formatted correctly. Some fields are required and must be in a specific format. When your data is ready, open Schedule Star and click on "Utilities", then "Import Students". Continue to follow the Import Student Guide to complete the data import.

Year End Maintenance
Archiving last year's events and last year's seniors will speed up Schedule Star, remove the old data, and prepare your student's data for this year. See a list here: Year End Maintenance List.
